Local-first storage

LifeEcho is designed around local browser storage. Echoes you create in the app are intended to stay in your browser unless you choose to export them, import them, or connect an external data source.

Information we may collect

For prototype analytics and product improvement, the website may use tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand page visits, button clicks, device type, approximate location, and general usage behavior. These tools do not need access to your private echo content.

Your content

Your entries are your content. You are responsible for deciding what to store, export, import, or delete. Avoid storing sensitive information that you cannot afford to lose or expose.

Data exports and external files

If you export a LifeEcho data file or connect an external JSON or TXT file, that file is controlled by you and by the storage provider you choose. Review your provider’s privacy and sharing settings.
